The f*cking End
TW HONIGGELB
James is seventeen and, pretty sure, he's a psychopath, and he's got a big plan: He wants to kill something BIG.
The big thing in question is Alyssa, who is also seventeen and (potentially) in love with James. So when she wants to run away from home, James seizes the opportunity and tags along with her, secretly murder on his mind. They get in a lot of dangerous situations and end up in trouble, when they are suspected of committing murder.
James and Alyssa, two absolute maniacs, were split up between two pairs of girls, who did an amazing job of portraying such complex characters and their respective thoughts. The others set the scenes and took on the roles of the people surrounding the story of the two youngsters. Some parts of the story were definitely difficult to play, but the Theaterwerkstatt HONIGGELB did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.
I think HONIGGELB has a trademark way of lightening up a dark story without taking away its seriousness in moments that need to be serious. Is it the sudden choreography with silly music, or the impeccable timing and humor? I don't know; maybe they can tell us themselves :)
