A cultural Youth Exchange

With the exchange of the Ryan International School from India we have experienced something very special days. The fourteen youths from Mumbai performed in schools, as well as in the “Alter Schlachthof” and at the “Zugluft” - Festival. We showed them South Tyrol from its most beautiful side: On the first day we walked with them on the Brugger Schupfe, where the Ebner family gave us a great lunch. Excursions to Schloss Rodeneck (organised and guided by the pupils of the Herz Jesu Institute), to the high ropes course in Villnöss and to Plose (a big thank to the Plose AG for the free transfer) showed them how fine we have it. In workshops (yodelling with Markus Prieth and a theatre workshop with Jonathan Troi) the young people from India and our young people came closer together. They've been in close contact ever since.

Mit dem Austausch der Ryan International School aus Indien haben wir etwas ganz Besonderes erlebt. Die vierzehn Jugendlichen aus Mumbai traten in Schulen auf, ebenso im Alten Schlachthof und beim Zugluft Fest. Wir zeigten ihnen Südtirol von seiner schönsten Seite: Am ersten Tag wanderten wir mit ihnen auf dir Brugger Schupfe, wo uns die Familie Ebner ein super Mittagessen spendierte.
