CZECH REPUBLIC
The play of the Czech Group really impressed us.
Their acrobatic movements and energy were impressive throughout the performance.
The eye contact following through with the throwing was immaculate and actually the whole play was visually stunning.
Their story captured us and we all rooted for the main character, the Inuit boy Angatar.
Even with their minimalistic stage set they managed to take us far up North to the ocean scenery of Greenland through their costumes and their acting and overall atmosphere.
I believe we all are a bit like Angatar and can learn from his story and be inspired to try to strengthen our self confidence.
I especially loved it when the whole group hid inside the sheet, using it as a tent and played with the light and shadows as if it was an igloo. But also generally the different ways in which the sheet was used.
